Marcus Feld’s Salt and Ashes is heading to the screen. A production company has optioned the novel for a limited series, with Feld attached as a writer — an unusual arrangement he insisted on.
"I have watched books get flattened into film," Feld said. "I wanted a seat at the table, not a check in the mail."
The series is in early development, with no cast yet announced. The coastline, Feld promises, will be shot on location.
